Nicois is an anointed soloist, director, composer, and arranger.
Born in Arlington VA, Nicois' desire to reach the masses through the ministry of melodies was planted at an early age. As a devote member of her church and school choirs, Nicois developed a passion for music and a powerful voice. Throughout her early years her talent was showcased in a host of local shows and musicals, in her own words, "I was born into a world of music. My church, family, and friends made it easy for me to immerse myself into an environment that nourished the person you see today musically.”
As a young adult Nicois swayed towards the secular industry singing for local bands in the DC area and also working with local producers for various projects, but it was singing for a well known gospel choir (Images of Unity) that kept her heart. After singing for a funeral of a very close friend, Nicois was asked to be the lead singer of a well known gospel band called Krazy Praise. This vehicle allowed her to travel throughout the DC area, displaying her ministry to the glory of God. It was during this season of her life that she completed her first
independent project, several radio jingles, music for an independent movie soundtrack, and a Christian TV jingle for a well known cable show.
After expressing to her First Lady that she desired a deeper relationship with the Lord and that she wanted to be more than a singer but wanted to be a ministry, Nicois put everything down and fully immersed herself into her local ministry and family. With the Holy Spirit as her teacher and guide, Nicois received the revelation of the true meaning, value, and respect for Praise and Worship.
Nicois, as a worship leader and choir director, at Agape Embassy Ministries, in Kingstowne, VA currently serves her Pastor and First Lady in leadership and is currently enrolled in the Leadership & Bible Institute (LBI) aiming for her degree.
Nicois is committed to God and her music, she represents a chosen generation of expression, creativity, and poise, and her mission is simple: To live the will of God, and encourage the nations to engage in conversations with Him.
Nicois is currently in the studio working on her second solo project which will highlight her as producer, composer and arranger. Her music has influxes of traditional, neo soul, and contemporary pop gospel, all for Jesus.
She has a smooth sound, a fresh style, and a powerful voice re‐enforced with the Word of God.
Nicois has been blessed to be on stages that featured Vickie Winans, Karen Clark‐Sheard, Shirley Ceaser, Barbara Johnson, Darryl Coley, Maurette Brown‐Clark, Martha Munizzi and others. She has also performed with great local Washington DC area artist such as Lisa Bellamy, Phillip Carter and SOV, Iyanna Blake, Gideon Band, Ten
Commandments Band and many others.
